City staff have officially moved into their transitional spaces and the project has been bid. The total project cost is estimated at $4.8 million. Demolition and abatement is set to begin in February with construction beginning in March. Project completion and City Hall will reopen in September.

City Hall Services

City staff have officially moved into their transitional spaces. Services can be found at the Fire Station, 101 17th Avenue S. We recommend people call ahead for non-routine items to ensure the correct staff member and a meeting space are available. Residents are able to receive assistance with utility bills, permits, licenses or notary. For other items, we recommend calling ahead (952-935-8474) whenever possible to schedule appointments to ensure staff is available and able to meet with residents as needed.

Council and Commission Meeting Location

Upcoming City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission and Park Board meetings will be held at the Hopkins Fire Station after January 3 until construction is complete.
