The Hopkins Fire Department's annual open house is Saturday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop by the fire station, 101 17th Avenue S, for fire truck bucket rides, free hot dogs and popcorn, and lots of hands-on fun. Watch live fire demonstrations, including an auto extrication and car fire, and learn valuable health and life safety tips. Plenty of parking is available adjacent to the station.
