The City of Hopkins currently has three openings on the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Planning and Zoning Commission is designed to serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council and the City's Administration department, and is empowered to perform certain quasi-judicial functions. Please consider giving a few hours of your time to help your community by submitting an application today. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 13, at 4 p.m. Learn more and apply online here.

Adopt-a-Drain to Help Protect our Waterways

While the Hopkins Police Department’s annual spring clean-up event at Nine Mile
Creek in Valley Park has been cancelled, you can still do your part to clean up the creek
by adopting a drain. The simple act of sweeping up around a storm drain protects local
lakes and rivers by preventing pollution from entering our shared waterways. Residents can sign up to adopt a storm drain here.

Hennepin County Expands Small Business Loan Program
