Free Community Garden Class is March 20

Learn to garden this summer with help from Hennepin County Master Gardeners! The Hopkins Activity Center is offering gardening classes on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. starting next Wednesday, March 20. Trends in Gardening is the topic for discussion. All classes are free and open to the public, and will run in select Wednesdays from March 20 through April 24. View the entire season of Master Gardener Community Classes.

Buy-A-Brick Deadline for Summer Installation is March 31

Leave a lasting impression in Hopkins Clock Tower Plaza and be a special part of Hopkins history with the Buy-A-Brick program. Individuals, families, groups and businesses can purchase bricks with names imprinted that will be placed in Clock Tower Plaza at the southwest corner of 9th Avenue and Mainstreet. Learn more on the City of Hopkins website or contact the Activity Center for more information. The deadline to order for summer installation is March 31.

Save the Date: Cops and Community Bingo is April 14

The Hopkins Police Department is hosting their annual spring Cops and Community Bingo on Sunday, April 14, at 2 p.m., at the Hopkins Activity Center, 33 14th Avenue N. For $20, play 10 games and help support the Hopkins Crime Prevention Fund and Youth Outreach. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Cash only. Seating is limited. Participants must be 18+.
