Holiday in Hopkins is November 30

Don't miss Holiday in Hopkins next Saturday, November 30! Holiday in Hopkins, hosted by the Hopkins Business and Civic Association since 2009, is an annual event held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to celebrate Hopkins' small businesses and to kick-off the holiday season. Head down to Mainstreet between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. for horse-drawn carriage rides, s'mores stations, ornament making, food trucks and, of course, to shop local. Find more event information about Holiday in Hopkins. 


Public Meeting on 2025 Budget is December 2

Interested in how your tax dollars are spent? Attend the 2025 Budget Hearing on Monday, December 2, at 6:30 p.m., at Hopkins City Hall. The 2025 Budget will be presented along with the proposed 2025 tax levy. The council set a preliminary budget and levy in September, which will appear on the notice of proposed taxes mailed to every tax payer. City Council and staff have continued to work on the 2025 budget and will present the most current version of the budget and tax levy. This is the final opportunity to provide input on the budget before it is approved. All input is welcome.


Hopkins-Minnetonka Winter-Spring Recreation Registration Begins December 10

Registration for general winter-spring recreation programs and ice skating lessons begins Tuesday, December 10, at 8 a.m., with registration for senior programs beginning Thursday, December 12, at 8 a.m. Visit minnetonkamn.gov/register to browse program options and choose from an array of activities, including kids’ programs, tennis lessons, fitness programs and athletic leagues. Register online at minnetonkamn.gov/register or call between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Central Park Plan Engagement Event and Movie 
Screening is December 11

Join the City of Hopkins for a movie and Central Park Plan engagement at the Hopkins Pavilion on Wednesday, December 11. Share your feedback on the City's Central Park Plan from 6 to 7 p.m. and then hang around for a family movie night screening of The Mighty Ducks. Snacks and refreshments included.
