- Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday December 25: City offices are closed, so there will be no garbage and organics pick-up
- Thursday, December 26: Pick-up for Tuesday and Wednesday routes
- Friday, December 27: Pick-up for Thursday routes.

2025 Parking Permits Now AvailableNeed to park in Downtown Hopkins for an extended period of time? Most of the parking lots downtown require a parking permit if you're staying for more than a couple hours. 2024 parking permits are available now. Homestead Applications Due December 31Property owners in Hennepin County have until December 31 to complete a homestead application for 2025. Eligible applicants must have moved into their home on or before December 1, 2024. Hennepin County offers an online filing application.
