Kids' Fest is February 1

Everyone’s family favorite winter event, Kids’ Fest, returns Sunday, February 1, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Minnetonka Community Center, 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard. Hosted by Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services, this free event features a variety of fun winter activities, including horse-drawn trolley rides, ice sculptures, face painting, crafts and more. The event includes both indoor and outdoor activities, so dress accordingly. Find more information on the City of Minnetonka website.


2026 Senior Trips Now Open for Registration

Get excited about embarking on your next travel adventure! Group travel for seniors with established professional tour companies that plan all of the details for day and extended trips for this year are now open for registration. Discover wonders right in our backyard around the metro area or venture to destinations beyond the Minnesota border. Check out the list of travel opportunities and get signed up to explore with the Hopkins Activity Center.

Hennepin County is gathering resources to support small business owners and entrepreneurs. Learn more about essential owner rights, how to access legal and HR support, and more.


Apply for City Rebates 

The City of Hopkins is accepting applications for three funding programs:

  1. The Hopkins Climate Solutions Fund (HCSF) offers incentives for residential, business, and commercial projects to accelerate our transition to cleaner and more efficient energy. Eligible projects are solar panels, insulation and air sealing, electrical panel upgrade, air-source heat pumps and more.
  2. The Water Efficiency Rebate offers rebates to improve water efficiency when a product is replaced with an eligible WaterSense or Energy Smart certified product, including dishwashers, clothes washers, and toilets. This program is offered in partnership with the Metropolitan Council and the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.
  3. The E-Bike Incentive Program offers rebates for electric bicycles, cargo e-bikes, and e-trikes to foster a culture of sustainable mobility, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and enhance the quality of life for residents and businesses alike. This program is currently full. New applicants will be added to the waitlist.
