Hopkins residents have the opportunity to rent a 20-foot by 20-foot garden plot in the Westbrooke/Nine Mile Creek area of Valley Park.
Starting March 1, interested gardeners will be able to enter an online lottery for a community garden plot. The lottery will be open through April 1, with names drawn the first week of April.
Due to high demand, there will be a limit of one plot per household. The rate is $25 for residents (must show proof of residency) and $35 for non-residents.
