Responsibilities
The Housing division promotes and develops housing programs and activities for City property owners and residents, and provides staff support for housing programs such as First Time Home Buyer Mortgage Program, Community Image Awards, Housing Improvement Areas and the Livable Communities Program. It coordinates meetings of the Hopkins Apartment Managers Association, and provides a City representative to the Hopkins Family Resource Center Board of Directors and other community committees and collaborative efforts.
The Housing division also provides referrals to Housing Rehabilitation Loan programs, monitors opportunities for new funding sources and provides ongoing loan servicing support.
