The Activity Center has a wide variety of fun opportunities going on every week. Call the Activity Center for dates and times, and to register.

May is Mental Health Awareness month. Educational and social activities this month are focused various ways to take care of our mental health:

Lunch and Learn Series

Enjoy a tasty box lunch while you learn about a new topic each month. Held select Thursdays each month from 11 a.m. to noon. Reserve your place and order your sandwich by the Monday prior to event date.

May 18: Mental Health Stigmas

  • Birch Counseling will be coming to share ways of developing self-compassion and lightening our emotional load to allow for refocusing on that which is essential: joy, wisdom and meaning.

Movie and Conversation

Take in a movie, enjoy some popcorn and stay for the conversation! Held the third Monday of the month from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

May 15: It's Kind of a Funny Story 

This movie is based on the novel by author Ned Vizzini, of which the book was inspired by his own hospitalization for depression.
